Forsta / Decipher + Maxna Survey Fraud Detection
Forsta/Decipher still runs a large share of custom quant. Maxna does not replace Decipher. It screens who is allowed to start the interview and whether their content is usable.
Other platforms score the respondent. Maxna scores the respondent and the response.
Device IDs, bots, VPNs, and duplicates are necessary. They are not enough. A real device can still paste ChatGPT into every open-end. Maxna's proprietary AI grades what people type - so sample integrity is both who they are and what they say.

Setup
How to add Maxna to Forsta / Decipher
Redirect is the default. API is available when you create surveys programmatically. Status 11 = pass, 22 = fail in the browser.
1. Create the Maxna project
Match the Decipher study. Use Cadence or Aether if the instrument is verbatim-heavy.
2. Map the respondent ID
Common names: PID, RID, id, trans_id. Set Maxna aliases with your preferred name first.
3. Qualified URL → Decipher entry
https://YOUR-DECIPHER-HOST/survey/selfserve/.../?PID={trans_id} (use your real entry pattern). Maxna only sends this URL on pass (status conceptually 11).
4. Terminated URL → panel / router fail
https://YOUR-DOMAIN.com/complete?PID={trans_id}&status=22 so suppliers can reconcile without a Decipher partial.
5. Swap the live links
Suppliers get the Maxna mainsurvey URL. Decipher links stop being public entry points for sample.

Troubleshooting
When the hop misbehaves
Decipher starts without a PID
Qualified URL dropped the placeholder or used a different query name than the Decipher XML/URL expects.
S2S needed
If the client requires server-to-server complete notifications, configure Maxna S2S (status 44 on reject callbacks) in addition to browser redirects.
